Al Fahim Group participates in the first "Absher" Open Day with the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Tawteen
Implementing the directives of His Highness (HH) Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and HH Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Al Fahim Group participated in the first "Absher" Recruitment Open Day organized by the "Absher" Initiative and Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council (ADTC) on 19 February 2014 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
During the occasion, His Excellency (HE) Saeed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Chairman of Al Fahim Group, stated, "This Recruitment Open Day is the ideal setting for Al Fahim Group to engage and attract UAE nationals seeking job openings by providing them with suitable work placements, then, qualifying them to become specialized local talents in diverse roles across the group's various sectors. Today, in collaboration with MOPA and ADTC, we hope to identify the largest number of young Emiratis to offer them a promising career."
Noteworthy in this respect, Al Fahim Group interviewed 24 Emirati candidates sent by ADTC. Among them, 17 were qualified to the next recruitment level where they will be tested and interviewed by heads of departments.
Mr. Al Fahim added, "Al Fahim Group's recruitment strategy encourages the development of national human resources and embedding them into the workforce. Thus, we are always keen on being actively present in career fairs and other similar activities. The Group is committed to offering adequate job positions for a large segment of UAE citizens and to endorsing initiatives which encourage them to join the organization.

We aspire to retain them through training, self-development and professional courses as well as to employ a larger number of candidates in 2014.
