47 UAE national candidates attended
Abu Dhabi:- Emphasizing the success of the career open days which were held in 2013 for Emiratis, Al Fahim Group conducted the "Absher" Open Day at the organization's headquarters where forty-seven UAE national jobseekers from both genders were straightaway interviewed.
Speaking about the event, His Excellency Saeed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Chairman of Al Fahim Group, commented, "Open days have proven to be a winning option for, both, the Emirati jobseeker and Al Fahim Group. This productive event has given us the opportunity to engage with candidates before the interview session commences and has aided us into comprehending the concerns and challenges they may be facing."
Starting with an interactive orientation around the headquarters of the family business, the jobseekers were also guided on a tour around the flagship company of Al Fahim Group, Emirates Motor Company (EMC), and authorized distributor of Mercedes-Benz in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Housing the world's largest Mercedes-Benz facility, the iconic building is an international landmark with state-of-the-art technology and a display of the personal classical car collection of Al Fahim's family members.
"The guided tour of the facility is an important aspect of the open day as it portrays to the candidates the friendly and professional environment of the group as well as background on the family business," continued Mr. Al Fahim. "This introduction gives them a feel of the culture at Al Fahim Group, thereby, easing their decision to apply to the organization."
After the tour, candidates started their screening interviews with the recruitment team of Al Fahim Group. Over 62% of Al Fahim Group's Open Day attendees will be considered for the next stage of the recruitment process.
Earlier this year, Al Fahim Group participated in another Open Day which took place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) organized by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council. Furthermore, the group also participated in the Information Technology (IT) Industry Connect Day, organized by the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU).
