The Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) has reviewed the operational projects and asset management with the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai.
To this effect, a delegation from the Municipal Infrastructure and Assets Sector at Abu Dhabi City Municipality visited the RTA to carry out benchmarks with the RTA in Dubai. These visits reflect the keenness of the Municipality to strengthen cooperation with leading national entities and exchange experiences of improving the performance and serving the community.
The delegation also reviewed the business model and procedures adopted by the RTA as regards maintenance and operation projects.
During the visit, representatives of the RTA stressed the importance of making joint efforts, especially in strategic projects between the RTA and Abu Dhabi City Municipality.
A team from the RTA made a presentation about asset management programs and projects undertaken by the RTA, as well as methods of raising the efficiency and the development of assets. The presentation touched on several technical aspects, including lessons learned and experiences gained in asset maintenance and management in previous years. It highlighted the importance of strategic partnership in providing the best services to achieve the vision of the leadership and provide all amenities and means of comfort for the peoples of the UAE.
At the end of the visit, the two parties stressed the need for continued cooperation and forging strategic partnership to provide the best and convenient services for citizens, residents and visitors.
