Dubai - The 2^nd annual Excellence in Cardiac Care Congress launched today in Dubai with the participation of a group of local specialists and more than 20 international experts. The two-day leading event is organized by Gruppo Ospedaliero San Donato, in association with Maarefah Management with the support of Emirates Cardiac Society and several regional and international specialized authorities.

The event aims at bringing together the community of Cardiac professionals of the UAE and wider GCC region, and to underline the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to achieve the best results against cardiac disease. The first day focused on topic-centered sessions in which presentations on techniques will be delivered, followed by case-based interactive discussions between the Expert Panels and attendees. The second day will be entirely focused on “hands-on” approaches, with live procedures performed in Dubai and Milan commented while they are happening by the experts, as well as practical wet-lab and simulation workshops.
