HAMBURG - A Syrian state agency has issued an international tender to purchase and import 85,000 tonnes of refined white sugar, European traders said on Wednesday.

The deadline in the tender is Dec. 9.

Shipment is sought within three months after the letter of credit opening on the purchase. Offers should be submitted in euros.

A previous tender from Syria for 85,000 tonnes of refined white sugar had closed on Nov. 3.
