CAIRO/DUBAI- The lowest offer for soyoil at Egypt's international purchasing tender was at $752.95 a tonne for 30,000 tonnes, traders said on Thursday.
The lowest offer for sunflower oil was at 14,250 Egyptian pounds a tonne, the equivalent of $795.64 a tonne, for 5,000 tonnes.
Egypt's state buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC), is looking to buy the vegetable oils for arrival July 16-31.
Results for the tender are due to be announced later on Thursday.
Traders gave the following breakdown of offers presented in the tender, in dollars per tonne, on a cost and freight basis, unless otherwise stated:
*Louis Dreyfus: 30,000 tonnes of soyoil at $759
*Bunge: 10,000 tonnes of sunflower oil at $800.95, 30,000 tonnes of soyoil at $752.95
*Aston: 11,500 tonnes of sunflower oil at $800.94 or 17,000 tonnes of sunflower oil at $799.94, 30,000 tonnes of soyoil at $776.50
*Hakan: 10,000 tonnes of sunflower oil at $814.44, 10,000 tonnes of sunflower oil at $798.83 and 20,000 tonnes of soyoil at $778.33, 30,000 tonnes of soyoil at $777.33
*ADM: 15,000 tonnes of sunflower oil at $803, 30,000 tonnes of soyoil at $761
*Cargill: 10,000 tonnes of soyoil at 13,725 Egyptian pounds ($766.33)
*Alex Seeds: 5,000 tonnes of sunflower oil at 14,250 Egyptian pounds ($795.64)
