KUWAIT CITY: The French ambassador to Kuwait Claire Legendre expressed her optimism that this summer will bring a better perspective for travelers saying the French President Emmanuel Macron said he plans to reopen his country for tourists and other international travelers on June 9, 2021.
Ambassador Legendre said during virtual interview with the Ambassador of the European Union in Kuwait, Dr. Christian Tudor, “I hope this will happen and that the health conditions are really improving to resume issuing visas and allow people to travel again.”
It is noteworthy to mention that President Macron said he plans to reopen France to visitors, saying the Corona cases in France are under control.
However, he said people wishing to travel by upload in the system vaccination certificates or negative PCR test results before traveling.
