Kuwait  - Representatives of the Egyptian embassy in Kuwait have reassured Egyptian workers in shelters dedicated for Kuwait’s residency violators that repatriation flights would begin this week in line with the followed procedures and protocols, according to a statement by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior.

The Egyptian embassy apologised for the riots by some Egyptian workers seeking repatriation, noting that it will take serious procedures to solve the problem.

The Egyptian ambassador to Kuwait Tarek El-Qouny told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Sunday that the priority in return flights would be given to women and children.
