ArabFinance: Egypt reported 1,150 new coronavirus cases on Monday, May 10th, raising the total count to 238,560 since the pandemic started in February 2020.

68 new deaths were reported, while death toll hit 13,972.

Egypt currently has 177,440 total recoveries after 677 new patients have been discharged from quarantine hospitals, the health ministry noted.

This is the countrys highest daily count and the first above 1,000 in three months.
