ArabFinance: The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced 129 new coronavirus infections, increasing the tally to 95,963.

There were 26 more fatalities that brought the death toll to 5,085, according to an August 12th statement.

Egypt currently has 55,901 total recoveries after 1,013 new patients were discharged from quarantine hospitals.

Jihan al Assal, vice president of the health ministry’s scientific committee told Egyptian state TV last months that the country is prepared for any possible second wave of COVID-19.
