ArabFinance: The Egyptian health ministry detected 170 new COVID-19 infections on October 27th, taking the tally to 106,877 since the pandemic started in the country.

The ministry reported 11 more fatalities, bringing the death tally to 6,222.

An additional 103 patients were discharged from quarantine hospitals, increasing the total number of recoveries to 99,084.

Meanwhile, the vaccine against COVID-19 being trialed by Oxford University and AstraZeneca offers hope for all age groups, as reported by The Guardian a day ago.
