ArabFinance: The health ministry in Egypt announced 581 new coronavirus cases on March 2st, raising the total count to 183,591 since the pandemic started in 2020.

42 new deaths were reported, while death toll hit 10,778.

Egypt currently has 141,655 total recoveries after 308 new patients have been discharged from quarantine hospitals, the health ministry noted.

The number of daily cases in the country has been below the 1,000 marks since January 9th.
