ArabFinance: The Minister of Health and Population Hala Zayed announced that 1,363 new COVID-19 cases and 84 fatalities have been reported, according to a June 17th press conference.

Egypt registered a total of 49,219 infections, while the death toll reached 1,850 since the outbreak of the virus.

Zayed added that 411 cases have been discharged from quarantine hospitals after receiving adequate treatment.

Therefore, a total of 13,141 people fully recovered from the virus, out of 14,566 whose lab tests changed to negative from positive until the last coronavirus update.

The country’s highest rise in daily divs for both infections and deaths was announced on June 15th.
