ArabFinance: Egypt detected 1,025 new coronavirus infections, raising the tally to 78,304 since the outbreak of the pandemic, Spokesman of the Ministry of Health and Population Khaled Megahed said in a July 8th statement.

This marks the second day in a row for the country to register over 1,000 daily cases, after the div declined to 969 on July 6th.

Megahed announced 75 additional deaths, noting that this increased the toll to 3,564.

Meanwhile, 523 patients were discharged from hospitals, bringing total recoveries to 22,241.

As part of the bilateral relations between the two sides, China recently made a donation to Egyptian hospitals.
