Riyadh – The suspension of Whatsapp’s voice call and video call services in Saudi Arabia was the result of the app’s failure to meet some regulatory requirements.
Once these requirements are met, the mentioned services will be available for all users, governor of Saudi Arabia’s Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), Abdulaziz Bin Salem Al Ruwais, said.
Al Ruwais added that users still have access to all other video call and voice call apps, according to Al-Watan newspaper.
