Muscat: The Capital Market Authority (CMA) has signed a cooperation programme with National Centre for Financial Information (NCFI) on how to combat money laundering and terrorist financing.

"The authority signed a cooperation programme for exchanging information on combating money laundering and terrorist financing with the National Centre for Financial Information in the Royal Oman Police. This is with the aim of coordinating efforts and governance performance between the two parties, finding best practices for combating money laundering and terrorist financing, and holding specialised workshops," CMA said in a statement.
