Muscat: A total of 168 expat workers were arrested and deported from Oman last month, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced.
According to officials, the workers were deported from Al Buraimi Governorate on charges of violating labour laws and regulations.
In statement online ROP said, "The Royal Oman Police (ROP) controlled and deported 168 expats workers on charged of violating labour laws and regulations in the Al Buraimi Governorate last month."
