MANAMA: Parliament’s Legislative and legal affairs committee chairman Mohammed Al Abbasi has submitted a proposal prohibiting a member of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry from being a trade union member at the same time.
The bill aims to avoid potential conflicts of interest as combination of membership would affect the voting process, he said.
