Egyptian startup, specialized in the field of agricultural technology services, has launched its new platform, “Khodar Supply”, to be the first integrated marketing platform for Egyptian farmers, which allows restaurants, cafes, hospitals, hotels, and catering companies to purchase more than 200 varieties of fresh vegetables and fruits with various specifications and high quality. The platform also provides express delivery services to 11 governorates nationwide, with various flexible payment facilities.

In the framework of expanding its spread base, cooperated with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), and within the framework of this cooperation, it trained engineers and consultants from various agricultural associations in the governorates of Beni Suef and Minya, to use the first personal assistant for the Egyptian farmer via WhatsApp, which aims to open marketing markets for farmers inside and outside Egypt and facilitate transportation, storage and waste management for agricultural crops.

The agricultural sector constitutes about 17% of commodity exports abroad and 12% of Egypt’s GDP, and the percentage of workers in the agricultural sector is approximately 25% of the total labor force in Egypt.

Ayman Hamza concluded his remarks by emphasizing that his company will continue its efforts during the coming period to keep pace with the high volume of local and global demand for Egyptian agricultural products by launching more products that help open new markets for agricultural products inside and outside Egypt.
