KUWAIT -- The Kuwaiti crude oil price edged up by USD 8.25 during Thursday trading to hit USD 116.80 per barrel (pb), compared with USD 108.55 pb the day before, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said Friday.

Brent futures went up by USD 7.87 to USD 109.03 pb, while West Texas Intermediate plummeted USD 11.42 to USD 111.54 pb.
