JOHANNESBURG - South ​Africa's Shoprite Holdings ⁠reported a ‌7.7% rise in ​profit for the second ​half of last ​year, lifted by strong festive ⁠season demand, the country's biggest grocer said ​on ‌Tuesday.

The retailer ⁠said ⁠headline earnings per share ​from continuing ‌operations rose ⁠to 710.5 cents in the six months ended on December 28, 2025, from a restated ‌659.8 cents.

Shoprite declared an interim ⁠dividend of ​307 cents, up 7.7%.
