Abu Dhabi - UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi affirmed on Tuesday the importance of developing economic and commercial relations with Syria, underlining the available joint investment opportunities that will help expand economic cooperation and increase trade exchange.
Abu Dhabi - UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi affirmed on Tuesday the importance of developing economic and commercial relations with Syria, underlining the available joint investment opportunities that will help expand economic cooperation and increase trade exchange.
During her meeting with chargé d'affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Abu Dhabi Bashir Qaddur, Al Qasimi stressed the importance of continuous communication to remove obstacles hindering commercial and investment cooperation between the two countries.
She also lauded the strong relations between Syria and the UAE in various fields.
Qaddur invited Al Qasimi to visit Syria and discuss developing commercial and investment relations.
Trade exchange between Syria and the UAE amounted to USD 322 million in 2009.
