Swiss Arabian’s planned retail expansion is bolstered by the company’s robust UAE-based manufacturing operation, producing tens of millions of bottles of perfume annually. Consisting of 165,000 square meters across five plants, the manufacturing area creates 35 million units which are exported to 80 countries around the world.
Rapid expansion is embedded within Swiss Arabian’s ethos, with its retail operation having grown to 50 UAE stores by 2004 before going on to 80 outlets across the GCC. The 11 new stores will occupy 100 square meters in prime locations such as Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi, Bawadi Mall in Al-Ain, Zahia Mall in Sharjah, Dubai Hills in Dubai, Mall of Oman and Mall of Qatar, among others.
“It’s important that customers are able to shop our products in the way that is most convenient to them. Whether that is through our extensive website with international delivery options, or in-store in malls and retail spaces. In the early days of Swiss Arabian, I delivered goods personally to distributors in Dubai in my car to ensure customers were able to access our products. Today, we are proud to be expanding our network of stores with 11 new outlets in the pipeline this year, bringing the total number of stores across the GCC to 80,” said Hussein Adam Ali, chairman and founder, Swiss Arabian Perfumes Group.
He added: “Our longstanding partnership with the world’s largest and most respected manufacturer of exclusive perfume ingredients from Switzerland, Givaudan, has played an instrumental role in this progress and is the namesake behind the brand, in honor of this collaboration. Through many years of dedication, persistence and strong will, we have been successful in growing Swiss Arabian into the brand that it is today and we thank our customers for their loyal support over the last 47 years.”
