Muscat: A shipment of livestock with around 10,000 sheep has been received at the Sultan Qaboos Port on Saturday.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries announced the news in a statement and said, "The shipment of 10,000 sheep was received in coordination with investors."
"Veterinary quarantine procedures are being completed and the livestock are being examined to ensure they are healthy and free of pathogens before they are released," the statement added.
