Real estate agency haus & haus has said it is aiming for “market domination” and will hire more employees in 2023.

The company, which announced on Friday the opening of its larger new office in Gold & Diamond Park, employs 240 people, and plans to recruit 150 more in 2023 through an international recruitment campaign.

haus & haus was founded in 2013 by its joint managing directors Simon Baker, Luke Remington and James Perry, and features in BBC Three reality show Dubai Hustle, which follows the experiences of its brokers selling and renting property in the emirate.

Dubai has seen booming sales and rental prices, particularly in the residential real estate sector, with demand for larger homes and villas soaring in the immediate aftermath of the pandemic. More recently, Morgans Realty also reported a major increase in apartment sales in the fourth quarter of 2022 as several new projects were released.

Real estate services company CBRE Group said rents and sales prices will remain positive in Dubai this year, but that there will be declines in prices in the emirate’s “nascent” communities.

Competition is fierce in Dubai’s real estate sales and rental market, with global players setting up office in the emirate during the city’s first property boom in the 2000s, vying for market share with other established expat-led “homegrown” brands including Better Homes and Allsopp & Allsopp.
