BOISE, Idaho - PCS Edventures!.com, Inc., (PCSV) a leading provider of K-12 programs focused on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), announced Wednesday that it has received a contract with T4EDU for STEM development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Under the umbrella of a nationwide STEM initiative, a Math and Science development program, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is developing science centers to inspire students to embrace science and pursue interests in technical careers. The Saudi Science Centers will provide comprehensive professional development for teachers and after-school activities for students that emphasize inquiry and assessment, aligned with world-class standards for science learning.
The $1,011,838 eight-month contract with PCS is for the development and delivery of a learning framework to facilitate non-formal, STEM education that links informal STEM education experiences to the formal, classroom experience for students. This contract between T4EDU and PCS is the fourth in a series of contracts related to a national education initiative in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia called the King Abdullah Project for the Development of Public Education (Tatweer).
Robert Grover, PCS CEO, said "We enjoy working with the administrators and educators in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and are pleased to have been awarded this new contract."
T4EDU is an established subsidiary of the Tatweer Holding Company (THC), a Riyadh-based government-owned company dedicated to education development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and beyond.
