A new fish market will be built on an area of 5,329 square metres in the Wilayat of Yanqul in Al Dhahirah Governorate.

"The construction and field works have started, to implement the fish market in the Wilayat of Yanqul, with funding from the Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), which is implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources as part of its plan to build and provide infrastructure for fish marketing in all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman,” Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement.

Eng Salim bin Ali Al Omrani, Director General of the Directorate General of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in Al Dhahirah Governorate, said that the project will be built on a land area of 5,329 square metres, while the construction area is 1,366 square metres.
