RIYADH: EDGE Group has restructured its board of directors with Mansour M. Al-Mulla at the helm as the new CEO and managing director.

He is replacing Faisal Al-Banni, who will take up a new role as the executive chairman of the board, details released Jan. 31 showed.

Edge Group provides services and capabilities to the defence industry.

Al-Mulla's career spans 22 years with leadership positions at major corporations in the UAE, including chief financial officer at Mubadala Petroleum.

“The addition of Mansour to the new board of directors will create a fertile environment for further growth as EDGE moves to grow its footprint in the region and in key markets around the world." Al-Banni said.

The restructure also saw new members added to the board, including Kamal Al-Maazmi, Khalifa Al-Suwaidi, and Mohamed S. Al-Ariyan.
