MONASTIR, (TAP) - Libya's "Afriqiyah Airways", on Thursday, resumed its flights to "Habib Bourguiba" international airport in Monastir, from Matiga airport.
The first plane landed in Monastir with 125 passengers on board, said Jalel Chouchane, Director of Communication in Turkish "TAV" company which operates the Monastir and Enfidha airports.
"Afriqiyah airways" has scheduled 4 flights to Monastir airport: two flights on Monday and on Friday from the Beida Al Abraq International Airport and two flights on Thursday and Sunday, from Matiga airport (Tripoli).
The airport of Monastir saw, last week, the launch of a new air link between Tripoli and Monastir operated by Libyan Buraq Air which has scheduled six flights to the Monastir international airport per week except for Monday.
