KUWAIT: The Cabinet reportedly plans to task the Minister of State for Municipality Affairs and the Minister of Public Works Fadel Safar with preparing the government project for developing the Kuwait islands of Failaka, Qarwa, Kubbar, and Bubyan.
The government wants to turn the islands into economic and tourist venues, where a number of hotels, resorts and shops are expected to be built, reported Al Rai.
