BEIRUT (Zawya Dow Jones)--Kuwait's Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding Co. (SHIP.KW), or Heisco, expects its business to grow to over 100 million Kuwaiti dinars ($358 million) this year, Kuwait-based Al Watan daily reports Tuesday citing an executive.

Heisco has signed the first contract for a project with the General Co. for Ports of Iraq as part of its plan to expand into the Iraqi market, Juhail Al Juhail, the company's chairman, said according to the paper.

He added that his company has been able to enter the Saudi and Qatari markets through one of its units which had been awarded a number of deals in these two countries.
