AMMAN -- Electronic Resources Planning Co. (ERP) has succeeded to win a big Baan project in Jordan, as they could sell Baan IV ERP to the Jordanian Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Co. (JPM) which is one of the biggest pioneers in the field of pharmaceutical industry in the Kingdom. The project includes the implementation of the following Standard Baan Modules: Finance, distribution (purchase, sales, marketing, inventory & location control and lot control), process (production), QMS (Quality Management System), service (maintenance) and planning (SIC and MRP); in addition to the development of two add -- on Baan modules for HR & Payroll and for R&D (Research and Development).
Implementation has started last month with a plan to go live with all of the above modules within the year 2005. The decision of JPM management to choose Baan ERP was due to their conviction of the strong functionality and stability of Baan and its suitability for pharmaceutical field, in addition to their trust in the capabilities and experience of ERP Co. team and management. JPM became the fourth Baan client in Jordan to joint the group of well known and successful Baan clients in Jordan who are satisfied about ERP Co. and Baan ERP.
