Amman, Sept. 22 (Petra)--Jordan Aviation singed on Thursday an agreement to transfer 2000 Palestinian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia to perform pilgrimage.

The agreement, which was signed by Palestinian Transport Minister Saad Al Karnaz and President and CEO of Jordan Aviation Mohammad Khashman, aims at transfering pilgrims from Gaza Airport to Saudi Arabia to perform pilgrimage and then transfer them back to the Gaza Strip.

Transport Minister Muhannad Qudah who attended the signing ceremony said that the government is keen, under directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to provide all forms of support to Palestinians, adding such a step will contribute to further boosting cooperation and coordination in various fields.

The minister valued efforts of the Saudi government and the Saudi Embassy in Amman to provide all facilities to pilgrims.

The Palestinian minister valued efforts of His Majesty and the Jordanian government to support the Palestinians and their just cause.
