Egypt - Hotel occupancy rate in Dahab governorate stood at 45% since tourism resumed, according to a Cabinet’s statement.

The majority of the guests were Egyptian nationals.

Dahab includes 28 hotels having 2,326 rooms, in addition to 110 tourist bazaars.

Meanwhile, there are 14 hotels in Nuweiba with a capacity of 1,643 rooms, besides seven bazaars.

This came during the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el Anani’s visit to South Sinai, which is among the coastal cities that were allowed to fully resume tourism activities.

Colliers International recently projected that hotel occupancy rates in Egypt would grow in 2021.
