Bahrain - Work on Block 2016 development project in Halat Abu Maher in Muharraq has reached 86 per cent, said Projects and Roads Maintenance director at Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry Sayed Badr Al Alawi. 

The 6.5km road infrastructure project follows directives from His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to revamp roads in old areas to ease traffic congestion, facilitate traffic movement and ensure road users’ safety.

Bahrain Tender board awarded the BD1.3 million project to Abdul Karim Al Jahromi Contracting Company.
