DUBAI - Air Arabia's Jordanian subsidiary has begun operating as a charter airline after suspending scheduled services earlier this month due to a row over traffic rights in the country, its chief executive said on Tuesday.
Air Arabia Jordan, partly owned by the Sharjah-based Air Arabia, has not been able to secure new traffic rights from Jordan, making its Amman-based operations non-viable, Air Arabia CEO Adel al-Ali told reporters at an industry conference.
