The WomenTech Leaders Across MENA forum will open on Tuesday in Bahrain with the participation of more than 50 pioneers in various technological fields from the region.

In addition, more than 400 participants involved in the ICT industry in the region and the world will take part in the forum, being held remotely.

This forum is held in a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and Alwane Bahrain Society, and organised by Arab ICT Union, BTECH, WorkSmart for Events Management, under the golden sponsorship of “Infobip”.

The event is supported by Bahrain BusinessWomen’s Society, Women Spark, SheTechs, Women in AI, and ArabNet.

WomenTech Leaders Across MENA will feature a keynote session, panel discussions, tech talks, and a mentorship session. The forum will also include interactive networking activities. It will also feature a virtual exhibition that will be held in parallel with the virtual forum to allow sponsors to showcase their services through this platform to the audience.

Abdulaziz Qambar, CEO of BTECH, said the forum will discuss the presence and innovations of women in various business and technology sectors in a unique two-day dynamic setup. He added that men who support women’s advancement and leadership are welcome to participate in the forum.

Ahmed Al Hujairy, CEO of WorkSmart, expressed his confidence in the success of this forum, which is being hosted by Bahrain for the first time. “High-level participation in the event would enrich the discussion and lead to recommendations to enhance the status of Bahraini and Arab women in the sectors of entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership in various fields of technology,” Al Hujairy concluded.
