Moroccan's Attijariwafa Bank on Thursday (September 24th) announced the acquisition of majority stakes in major banks in Congo and Gabon.
Under the 250 million-euro deal with France's Credit Agricole, the private Moroccan banking group will also acquire majority stakes in Societe Ivoirienne de Banque, Societe Camerounaise de Banque and Crédit du Sénégal.
