Abu Dhabi, March 20th, 2012 (WAM) -- Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) today morning inaugurated the 24th XBRL International Conference at the Yas Hotel.
The three-day conference under the theme "Transparency: Available, Reliable, Comparable and Re-usable Data" will see the participation of representatives from 50 countries and 600 concerned international organizations. The opening ceremony was attended by Abdullah Al Turaifi, CEO of Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), Arleen Thomas, Chairman of XBRL International Board of Directors in addition to a number of heads of financial markets in the state and many of the world-renowned personalities in the field of financial markets and central banks. --- More ---Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2012.
