ABU DHABI- The Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, Masdar, welcomed Their Royal Highnesses the Hereditary Grand Duke and Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, together with Etienne Schneider, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Economy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, to Masdar City yesterday.
The delegation led by HRH Prince Guillaume and HRH Princess Stephanie also included Ms. Elisabeth Cardoso, Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the UAE, along with embassy officials, representatives of the Grand Duchy's Expo 2020 bureau, and other officials.
Their visit included a meeting with Masdar CEO, Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, when they were briefed about Masdars sustainability mandate and the companys investments in international and local clean energy projects. The delegation toured Masdar City, one of the worlds leading sustainable communities, as well as the Yahsat Space Lab in Masdar Institute, part of the Khalifa University of Science and Technology.
