Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain – Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, today announced the upcoming increase of its flights to and from the Saudi capital city of Riyadh from 32 to 35 weekly flights starting from 30th October 2016 to meet high passenger demand. The airline’s 5 daily Riyadh service will better serve passengers affording them with greater choices and enhanced two way connectivity across the Gulf Air network.

Commenting on the airline’s enhanced schedule, Gulf Air Chief Executive Officer Mr. Maher Salman Al Musallam said: "The Kingdoms of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have historically held strong ties and this is supported by the longstanding service offered by Gulf Air between the two Kingdoms – dating back to 1950. We are always looking to cater to and satisfy the high demand on our five destinations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in light of the strong relationship between the two Kingdoms and their people. The airline’s multiple daily flights to and from its Saudi destinations ensures that our passengers have a flexible, convenient and seamless travel offering while our upcoming schedule increase on Gulf Air’s Riyadh service is in direct response to high passenger demand on this route. By enhancing the existing Gulf Air service to/from Riyadh we are offering a greater selection of flights and improved connections for those passengers travelling to and from Gulf Air’s network of onwards destinations across the globe, increasing passenger convenience – which is our ultimate goal.”
