Oman's Madayn (Public Establishment for Industrial Estates) has invited bids to build the Madayn Vehicles Complex (Motkar), an integrated city specialised in car trading, car spare parts, accessories and services.
 
The scope of work includes an construction of integrated masterplan and support facilities for the vehicle complex spread over an area of 956, 287 square metres in Suhar Industrial Estate.
 
The project was announced in January 2021 when Madayn unveiled its 2040 vision strategy.
 
The city will serve as a regional centre for the import and re-export of cars, machinery and related services to and from countries in the Middle East and North Africa region.
 
The documents are available till 17 June 2021 for a price of 3,000 Omani Riyals. Bid submission closes on 14 July 2021 and priced bids are due to be opened on 15 August 2021.
