Saudi private healthcare operator Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group announced on Monday that its subsidiary Al Muhammadiyah Hospital for Healthcare Company has awarded enabling and structural works contract for the Al Muhammadiyah Hospital in Jeddah City to United Standards Company.
 
The contract value is 311 million Saudi riyals ($83 million), the company said in a stock exchange statement.
 
It said the contract duration would be 18 months.
 
The statement said the project is expected to commence operations in 2024, adding that the Group intends to finance the project through internal resources and by long-term Shariah-compliant facilities from local banks.
 
In 2019, the company had announced that the North Jeddah Hospital would house 270 clinics and 350 beds.
