Abu Dhabi: Under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance, the 27th Edition of Jewellery and Watch Show (JWS) will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

Doors open to the public on Saturday 26th October and will run for 5-days until Wednesday 30th October.

JWS will present more than 150 exhibitors from over 25 countries and has an abundance of jewellery and watch brands not normally found in malls or retail outlets. Visitors can discover unique pieces from countries such as Brazil, Lebanon, Italy, India, United Kingdom and Thailand to name a few within the International Designer Gallery.

The popular Emirati Designer Gallery created to promote local designers and unveil traditional authentic jewellery layered with a modern twist will also be back. Also supporting Emirati, designers, the EBD’AA Award will take place on Day 1 (26th October) and is organized by the first Emirati jewellery designer, Azza Al Qubaisi.

Several brands this year have chosen JWS as a platform to launch their new collections, being a prime time to connect with seasoned customers who are looking for unique items. There will be a number of brands only at JWS and cannot be found at other events in the region.

Brands exhibiting at JWS cover a wide range of items to suit the desires of every jewellery enthusiast. Whether visitors are looking for items for everyday wear, the latest in traditional gold or extravagant items for weddings and events, there is something for everybody.

Visitors will also be able to see the World’s Most Valuable Guitar known as the Eden of Coronet, owned by Aaron Shum Jewelry of Hong Kong, parent company of Lifestyle Fine Jewellery. Adorned with over 11,000 diamonds and worth AED7.3million, it will no doubt wow the crowds.

For those who want to try on jewellery items digitally for fun with their friends, this year JWS has a new Augmented Reality feature called MirrAR by StyleDotMe.

The Gift Bag is also new this year, providing a variety of special offers and incentives to visitors who can flick through the deals and add to their bag before the event.

Examples of discounts in the bag include: Italian brand Veschetti offering one beautiful statement piece at 40% off. Lifestyle Fine Jewellery is offering 50% discount on diamond Jewellery; Amwaj are offering AED1,000 gift voucher on any product purchased above AED15,000 for 5 days.

For a gourmet treat, visitors can take a moment to relax at the Ladurée Lounge and enjoy a selection of new items from their delicious dishes from the new Green evolution menu such as the Tokyo Bowl, Hummus avocado toast, chia buddings and more along with their desserts and drinks.
