(Correction to remove typo in first sentence, to state President George W. Bush ordered the invasion of Iraq, not Iran)

Young Arabs view Donald Trump as anti-Muslim, believe his travel ban will help terror groups to recruit young Muslims and consider him even less favourable then George W. Bush, who ordered the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Around two-thirds, or 64 percent, of Arab youngsters aged between 18 and 24 years surveyed in the 2017 Arab Youth Survey viewed Trump’s presidency with concern, anger or fear and 83 percent saw Trump as the least favourite U.S. president compared to his predecessors, Barack Obama and George W. Bush.

Some 49 percent of the respondents viewed the United States as an enemy to the Arab region.
