ArabFinance: Americana Group for Food and Touristic Projects has sold its entire stake of 33.77% in Cairo Poultry Company (CPC) (POUL) in a transaction valued at EGP 549.99 million, according to a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Americana Groups stake in CPC represented 161.76 million shares that were sold at an average price of EGP 3.40 per share.

CPC, a subsidiary of Kuwait Food Company, is an Egypt-based company that operates in the farming and food processing sectors.

The listed firm focuses on the breeding and fattening chicks, production of animal feed, and hatching of eggs, as well as participating in similar projects inside and outside Egypt.
