H.E Mrs. Raja Rabia, Consul General, Consulate General of France, Dubai visited the Al Maya Group with a high level  Economic delegation from France, including Mrs Marie-Laure Charrier, Deputy Consul General, Mr Frédéric Szabo, Managing Director Middle East Area of Business France and Ms Ines Taki, Deputy Area Manager – Middle East, Turkey & Central Asia of French Public Investment Bank.  The delegation was received by Mr Kamal Vachani, Group Director, Al Maya Group, Dubai. They discussed the business relationship with French companies through Al Maya Group.

Al Maya Group Director, Mr. Kamal Vachani, informed the Consul General about the large number of products available from France at Al Maya Supermarkets.  Al Maya Group imports a large number of FMCG products from France, informed Mr Kamal Vachani.

The Consul General appreciated the Group’s role in promoting French food products in the UAE.  They also discussed the ways to further enhance trade between France’s FMCG companies and Al Maya Group.

Al Maya Group, the UAE-based business conglomerate, has more than 50 supermarkets in the UAE in addition to other businesses including distribution of FMCG.

We appreciated the visit of French Economic delegation led by Consul General.
