PROJECTS: Oman's Galfar bags $28.5mln pipeline deal

Omani contractor Galfar Engineering & Contracting announced on Wednesday that it has been awarded 11 million Omani riyals ($28.5 million) contract for the construction of oil pipeline by Oman-based OQ Exploration and Production.

The project involves the construction of a 120-kilometre pipeline in OQ's concession area, the contractor said in a stock exchange statement.

The contract duration is from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021, the statement added.
