Abu Dhabi, UAE – Their Excellencies Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment, Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy & Industry and Minister of State Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh today visited Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) stand at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) 2020. H.E. Saeed Mohamed Al Suwaidi, Managing Director of ADDC, and other representatives of the company’s senior management briefed them about energy-efficiency projects displayed at ADDC stand. 

During his visit, Their Excellencies was given a brief overview of ADDC projects and initiatives such as, Trashed, smart grid and recycled water.

Moreover, it is worth mentioning that ADDC Tarsheed initiatives are in line with Abu Dhabi Vision 2030 to reduce consumption per capita by 20% by 2030 which equates to annual electric consumption of over 107,000 villas, enough water each year to fill 67,600 Olympic swimming pools and reduced GHG emissions equal to taking over 808,000 cars off the road.
