Dubai –  The ordinary general meeting (OGM) of Islamic Arab Insurance Company (Salama) has approved cash dividend distribution, equivalent to 8.25% of the capital, for the six-month period ended 31 December 2020.

The cash dividend distribution stands at 8.25 fils per share, aggregates at a total value of AED 98.037 million, according to the company's disclosure to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Sunday.

The shareholders have set the last entitlement date on 26 April and the payment date on 11 May.

It is noteworthy to mention that in 2020, the audited consolidated financial results of Salama showed an increase in net profits attributable to the shareholders to AED 149.368 million, compared to AED 55.038 million in 2019.
